Ok guys since all of you advised me to build my own pc i went to http://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/ (not sure if theyre trustworthy) and virtually built one to handle GW on High settings and hopefully GW2, it came to £741 inc VAT and Delivery.

Is it Alot better than this PC http://www.pcworld.co.uk/martprd/sto...ory&sku=035569 (was going to buy this instead)

Also did i build it right? (will edit sections you guys correct)

i'd say go to a more standard geforce 9600GT card. the 1gb vRAM will be entirely wasted, since the GPU is not fast enough, and your monitor is too small to benefit from it.

Ok 2 last questions

1.) so is changing it to 9600gt the only thing i have to do, no mistakes in other areas?
2.) would it still be better than the pc i was going to get shown in the link?

thanks.

well, change it to a 9600GT with 512mb

it won't really be a better PC, but it will be a PC that performs similarly while costing slightly less money. you will never use the extra RAM on the 1gb card, so it's money wasted.

Monitors are fairly cheap nowadays. See if you can stretch to at least a 19". 20-22" would be even better (but then you'd need that 1024 9600GT)

Or, you could go for an ATI 4850 based card.

I suggest the ATI Radeon HD4850 - many people believe that ATI and AMD work best together (myself included), and the 4850 is very powerful indeed... I'd suggest a 500 watt Power Supply then, because that Processor and that video card would draw allot just themselves. Good Luck!
