Dervish in Elite Missions

I'm thinking about making a new character to farm in Elite Missions. I searched a bit on PvXwiki and found alot of teambuilds to clear DoA/FoW and other Elite MIssions where a Dervish plays an important role, but when I search here, on guru no Dervishes are used in teambuilds to clear Elite Missions. So my question is: are Dervishes acualty used alot in Elite Missions or not?

They're used, not in pugs.

Good groups can utilize dervishes. PuGs use tanks and bonders and slow crap like that.

What do PUG's use then in FoW/DoA atm?

some sort of tank/bonder/nuker failure. same as they always did before ursan.

It's pretty sad too. All you really need is an Ob tanker that knows how to position mobs to make great use of a Derv. It gets pretty crazy easy if you use a Dervish with Ebon Dust Aura/Sandshards, Technobabble.

All assuming you have 1 good tank...as with most setups.

Dervs are obsolete.

You are obsolete dude.......just make your own non-pvx build and you can use dervish in Elite Missions; ppl think that exist only those builds posted on forums, website etc etc etc, but it's not like this.

The main problem of Elite mission is that everyone (basiclly brainless ppl) only use builds seen on the web and maybe it's not even able to use them.
I used to farm Stygian Veil first quest with a guildy Ranger trapper and me as Derv/para with a holy dmg spike based build + [can't touch this] and [avatar of dwayna] to recover health while in meele. This one it's from PvShyt website!! and works pretty good.
