OK,
I have been going through Factions for a few weeks; I have finished Prophecies, and Nightfall. What I don't get is the Faction Points system?
I now have 10,000 points. I no longer get points for defeating monsters in the Kurzacks territory? (Why)
My faction points say I have 10,000/10,000 Kurzacks points.
I thought maybe I have to spend some?
I can't buy any skills because I do not have level one of the Title track "Friend of the Kurzacks" ???
Looking at my title tracks I do not even have that "track listed under the title tab ???
What am I doing wrong/not understanding?
Please someone clarify.
I checked Wiki and it does not clarify, nor does the game manual?
My friend and I do not get this?

If you go to your guild hall you can talk to the Kurzick Beauracrat. You can donate all 10k or just 5k faction to your guild's faction. You get twice the faction points toward the Friends of the Kurzick title. You can also trade your faction in for Amber from the same person.

In order to get more points, you must spend some of your existing. You have several options at House Zu Heltzer / Cavalon / Guild Hall:
1) Amber/Jade - Useful for getting Kurzick/Luxon armor
2) Scrolls - Generally a bad use, as they're cheap enough at the scroll trader
3) Donation - Gives 5k faction to your guild, note that this gives you double title points
4) Skills - You must have the tier 1 title to get skills, also gives double faction
You are given points towards your title based on how much faction is spent, for example, getting Amber/Jade costs 1k faction, so you get 1k points towards your title. Donating and skills give double, so 10k points per donation and 6k points per skill.

To back up a little - you need to get the 10,000 faction points to do the befriending the kurzicks (or luxons) quests and keep moving through the game. Once you get that reward, you have to use the faction in some way in order to get more. One way is to donate it to your guild (which you can do in increments of 5000 faction) This will actually give you 10,000 faction towards your title track for each 5000 faction you donate. Another way is to use it to buy amber (for kurzick) and jade (for luxon) Which you can do with a kurzick beaurocrat or a luxon scavenger (the same guy you'd use to donate the faction to) You can also buy scrolls to the deep and urgoz, but nobody does that as its not worth it. Any of these ways will use your faction, increase your title track, and allow you to keep accruing faction on your account.

Hold off on Smoochie's suggestion. As part of your progress in Factions, you will need to do at least one of the following quests: "Befriend the Kurziks" (get from House Zu Heltzer), and "Befriend the Luxons" (get from Cavalon).
To complete each of those quests, you need to have earned 10k faction from that side. Since you've earned 10k Kurzik faction, it is now time for you to complete the quest in HzH.
Now, once you've done that, you will still have the 10k faction. If you have other characters you play that you want to complete Factions, consider getting them to HzH so that you can complete the Befriend quest before spending the 10k faction.
After you've sorted all that out, then follow Smoochie's suggestion for spending the faction. Once you've earned 100k faction, you will then be eligible to buy special skills from the factions guy. It is highly recommended you do this, as they are some of the more useful pve skills in the game.

Oh, thank you, thank you, thank you.
You do not know how frustrating that was.
What a horrible way to keep calling everything a faction, faction point faction allegiance, faction guild, factions the game.
Well you get the idea.
Thank you everyone for your reply.
Now where are my arrows...

Yeah, I totally forgot about the Kurzick/Luxon quests. Thanks for bringing that point up.... Total blond moment here!

^Insult to the blonds!!!
j/k (not even a blond).
Anyway, just keep a tab, every max factions (10k), trade/donate for something.
Oh, never forget to check out some of their Kurzick PvE-only skills!

Looking at my title tracks I do not even have that "track listed under the title tab ??? After you donate faction, you'll see that track appear. It's kind of how you won't see other titles like Guardian appear until you've actually done your first HM mission.
