Now I know somebody is going to say that AB in general should use reward increase and someone else will say that AB should not be played at all. That is completely irrelevant to the topic.
The problem: reward increase of 500 points from grenz/etnaran is a joke.
In my mind grenz/entnaran/saltspray are all fairly balanced and not much harder for either team, while lands/kanai are so infinitely harder for attacking team that extra 500 points just don't cut it.
On attacking side - Increased apathy of players, fewer decent teams, fewer teams in total. People just leave AB district or go AFK. Increased frustration with /fail teams. More people "take break" until map changes.
On defending side - Retarded wait times. Incredibly boring matches.
Solution: I don't think difficulty itself needs change. Well organized teams can pull out solid wins on attacking side. Instead I think effort/reward ratio needs adjustment. An easy change in reward formula to produce around 3.3k per win (up from current 2.5k) on attacking side would go a long way to fixing this issue and improving morale of attacking side.

Just be thankful it isnt how it was originally, when all rewards were equal no matter which map. Then it meant few would play when it was in the others fort.
The fact is, even if you lose on the "away" fort, unless you have a terrible team, then you get a decent reward (isnt it 3x your score? cant remember exactly).
TBH, I am happy with it as it is now but wouldnt mind it being incresed too..

I sort of though the point of doing it the way it's done now is so the map doesn't stagnate on a single side.

I will only /sign for increase rewards in Kurzick/Luxon faction if and only if they increase the amount of Kurzick/Luxon faction you can have at one time *per rank of course, maybe 1k per rank*

i played Aspenwood once and i don't see why it's so empty

If the double (or even triple) total AB rewards, then its fine. The rewards gained will be worth it, and you get an extra 1.5k in opp fort for winning.
The other idea I think, is that you're own fort should be ur score + 1k for winning. You're 'shallow' should be score *2 + 1k for winning. Saltspray score *3 + 1k for winning. Opponents 'shallow' 4* score + 1k for winning, and opponents fort score * 5 +1k for winning.
Atm its stupid that defending teams get the same faction for winning at saltspray as at canyons.
