Now I know somebody is going to say that AB in general should use reward increase and someone else will say that AB should not be played at all. That is completely irrelevant to the topic.
The problem: reward increase of 500 points from grenz/etnaran is a joke.
In my mind grenz/entnaran/saltspray are all fairly balanced and not much harder for either team, while lands/kanai are so infinitely harder for attacking team that extra 500 points just don't cut it.
On attacking side - Increased apathy of players, fewer decent teams, fewer teams in total. People just leave AB district or go AFK. Increased frustration with /fail teams. More people "take break" until map changes.
On defending side - Retarded wait times. Incredibly boring matches.
Solution: I don't think difficulty itself needs change. Well organized teams can pull out solid wins on attacking side. Instead I think effort/reward ratio needs adjustment. An easy change in reward formula to produce around 3.3k per win (up from current 2.5k) on attacking side would go a long way to fixing this issue and improving morale of attacking side.
