Tatile
With Factions, if you have the other campagins, you need to get the quests from Kaineng Centre, the main city in Cantha. I can't remember the names, but I'll look in the Wiki.
Oh, it's Kaineng.

You need to reach Kaineng Center and get the quests to travel to Elona (Nightfall) or Tyria (Prophecies).

anyone know where i can find meobus strike ?? also where do i buy cap sigs again...
Tatile
Cap sigs in Kaineng from Michiko. If you're in the sewers I think you're going in the wrong direction (Kaineng's north of the Market Place), also moebiuos is in... Kurzick territories?

I'm freaking typo-tastic today.

You must have the other campaigns on the same account as you have Factions on. Play through the course of the main storyline and you will hit your chance to go to a different campaign, if you choose to wait, you can go back at anytime that you wish in the future.

Just to make sure you do have the other games purchased right? :P Yeah Moebius strike is gonna be a long way...unless you unlock the skill for PvP with balthazar factions and buy an Elite Assassin Tome...
for getting to other continents i think you're pretty close...you could actually just get a run or run yourself to Kaineng, it has nothing to do with storyline progression...

Kaineng Centre.

Not to patronize, but you really might want to check out the resources available to you on the wikis. There's the originial wiki at http://guildwars.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page Then there's the newer, ANet sponsored official wiki at http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Main_Page Both are useful bookmarks to keep around.
Darcy posted links to the two quests you need to take your Assassin to Prophecies and Nightfall. Read the quest articles there and notice they start at Kaineng Center. Getting to GWEN from Factions requires you do one of any of the following three quests, assuming you have the GWEN expansion on your account,

These quests are available to characters from any campaign. The first starts in Lion's Arch, the second in Kaineng Center, and the third in Kamadan.
It seems like you need to get to Kaineng Center. If you're off the island, you should have a town called The Marketplace. Go out the North exit into Bukdek Byway and fight your way north to get to the City. (There's a map of the area at the link. I find it's easiest to get to KC staying on the West half of the Byway area.)
As an Assassin, there will be quite a lot of skills you can't get anywhere except Cantha. So, eventually, these links will probably help, too.

- edit - I lied a little. Cantha isn't the *only* way to get the Factions-only skills for your Assassin. You could unlock Factions-only skills, either with PvP Balth faction or by buying/capping them on a different character. You can also buy skill unlock packs from the online store now I think. Once unlocked, you can use tomes to teach your PvE Assassin any skill unlocked on your account.
Do you want to play through Factions or spend game money and/or real money to get the unlocks and tomes? It's a personal choice. I've known players that have done the campaign while hating it, and I've known ones that just paid for the unlocks and tomes instead.
