Dungeon's,Which one to do?
Kyosuki
Hello,
Well I'v just finished EoTn with my Assassin,so I thought I would start doing some Dungeon's ^_^
I did Cathedral of Flame's once, which was fun,but wasn't really worth it for me,I'd like to know the Dungeons were people actually go to,and that are worth the time you know, like most of the Dungeon's are not even played, and some well known dungeon like Cathedral of Flame's are just getting runned,no one actually botter trying to PuG it -_-

I don't know about PuGs, but I find them all to be fun and worth while.
But if you're looking for good drops, some dungeons have items that can only be found in the end chest, and some still go for alot. Check out wiki, see which ones are offering the good stuff and go at 'em

I like Frostmaw the best. Maybe because I just like killing giant worms, maybe its a holdover from the eotn preview weekend that only had a couple dungeons available, and I did frostmaw like 5 times and it was new and shiny, dunno. I always h/h dungeons anyway so I couldn't tell you which ones you can find pugs for.

I thought that HoS was a pretty popular dungeon for PUGs? And Slavers', of course ...

I think there lots of people going there because of the main quest leading in there;
Alright thanks for all the reply,Im gonna go try to do Ooze Pits, looks fun
As for Kathandrax,I think im gonna wait, heard its the hardest after Slaver's Exile.
By the way,PuG's mean real players, right?

I wouldn't say Kathandrax is hard. Check out this thread and see what people think of the dungeon difficulties:

The kathardax dungeon itself isn't hard it's just in the A-hole of the charr territories and kathardax himself is a bitch to kill(especially with heroes). Or used to be before they took out his inherent regen, but the firebombs will still wipe you a couple times at least....
I like the frostmaw dungeon, it's easy to get to, it's nice and big if you want to explore and quick enough if you don't, and I always get decent stuff from the hidden treasures in there, if not the chest itself. I also like the ooze pit, 1/2 hour in there tops. Also I'm a fan of the Raven Point Dungeon, I always get good loot down there like a tribal axe from a locked chest, those cool wingcrest mauls or the Destroyers down there give me lots of cores for some reason. I also like Oola's Lab just cause the golems are cool.

I hate Frostmaws with a passion. The reason for it is because of all the hexes. It's just insane-we've tried several different things and they just can't keep up.
MuC
Pain inverter kills worms in 2 secs.

The Wurm Hex, [Wurm Bile] is a monster only hex, that means something like [Inspired Hex] or [Revealed Hex] can't copy it, and when that happens Inspired/revealed hex becomes a free, 0 recharge spammable, hex removal that actually increases your energy when you use it(this works in the grand court of sebelkeh too on the blasphemy's hex, and others). Don't bother healing the norn, let them die for MM fuel so you can pain inverter them, if you have heroes or humans watch their indicators to see what hex is on top, if it's bile, hit it with inspired/reveal, otherwise use Convert Hexes, Blight or Divert Hexes. Deny Hexes is good too if you have a couple DF skills to make it take out a stack of hexes. A Blight/Deny or divert Mo/Me with reveal/inspire and a bit of condition removal and prot owns this mission. Just make sure you take both of them, and the second you see someone losing big chunks of health every second, fire the reveal or inspire asap, try not to get them choked with suffering or the water hexes(thats why you put both on there if you have them, if one gets choked, use the other).
Normally the sab MM and Curse heroes have a couple /rt or /mo support skills(not the N/Rt healer, leave that one with a couple spirits, weapon of remedy and mend body and soul to del with blinds, disease and daze), if you take those out and go /me for the inspired/reveal hexes they roll the dungeon in about 1:30 hours if you screw around, much less if you go straight for the doors.

Arachni's is one of the easiest dungeons I ever did. (I nearly dozed off monking it in HM)

I didn't find it that hard, actually, but it's been a while. Quote:
What else? I liked Dragrimmar and Ooze Pit. Vloxen's not bad, either. Shards of Orr was fun to play - once.

Ah, but it gets buried quickly though.
We've tried this-and while it's a "free" hex removal, oft times we don't end up with wurm bile removed.
Inevitably, we just take 3-4 hex removals to try and keep the nastier ones off and just power heal through the rest. Since I run Imbagon, the majority of damage coming through is via the hexes, which we just keep to a minimum.
Still a terrible experience though.
