‘Supermarket sweep’

The idea is to get as many drops as possible, kill as many bosses as you can and collect bonus items if you can find them in the time allowed. The team with the most points wins..

Each winning time member will win a FoW set, there are other prizes also. so please check the summer events thread

Instructions.

DVDF referees will line up near firstwatch Sergio in Lions arch.
Team up with 3 others and select a referee. If there are none available, then you will need to wait for one to appear.

Only DVDF members that are standing there are referees, anyone else wont be able to help you. As soon as the event ends, no new teams will be taken. Existing teams will be allowed to complete their run.

Once you are in your team you will be taken to an area in the Ascalon region of the game. So make sure all characters can get to all towns there.
Once there you must stay still while your referee places bonus objects on the ground. If you portal out, incur any damage, try and chase them etc in this time your run will be disqualified.

When the referee has done this, they will give you a count down in team chat and you can start. The amount of time you will be allowed is 5 mins in this time.

1 Drop is worth 1 point
A boss kill is worth 5 points
Finding a bonus object is worth 10 points.

It may take us a while before we announce the winners as we’ll have to count the scores etc so please be patient. The judge’s decision will be final etc etc.

Sounds fun, when does this start and when will it end? I would like to participate

Sounds intriguing, I haven't been into an event in quite a while, may check this one out.

The event went on for the duration of the summer party. One of the judges has an ISP problem atm which means that they cant send us their results. They should be up tomorrow.

We must apologise for the very late results for this event. One of our judges has recently just gained internet access again so that we are able to post the results. Thank you to all teams that particiapted in the event. Congratulations to the 3 winning teams!
