Since A.net announced Guild Wars 2? 1.5 years now? And still nothing?
Someone explain to me how A.net plans to actually keep some of their fans for GW2.

Also, zelda games as well as a lot of other franchises come out with gaps of sometimes 3 or more years, they still manage to keep their fans.

Well, it's been almost a year since Half-Life 2: Episode 2 and we haven't heard word one from Valve about Episode 3's progress. Keep in mind this is for episodic content, not a full game, so this kind of behavior isn't new. I'm hoping Anet will release something soon to pique our interest.

It would be nice to get more info since they really haven't given us all that much info... I'm starting to lean away from buying GW2. Probably will wait for someone I know to buy it and then listen to their recommendation.

At this current point Guild Wars 2 is technically vaporware. Sure they say they're making it, but there's absolutely no proof, not even one piece of concept art.Even after 1 and a half years. Nothing.
If they plan on releasing after Diablo 3,that's a terrible mistake.

Yay, my graduation is in a year so i hope GW2 releases in 2010-11, since then i have room to get used to my new life before I get back to GW again(or not, depends, SC2 out november this year

Development on Guild Wars 2 probably started sometime shortly after EotN, which came out on August 31, 2007.
So at most, GW2 has been in development for a year now.
Quit asking for a miracle or a shity game and you'll be lucky if we get this in 2010.

This is the problem with fanboys, you give them something good and then they want more, and when you take to long to give it to them they start bitching at you. A-net's problem was that they announced it when they announced EotN. Just sit back and relax and wait for the game. Do you want it now or do you want it good?
Seriously some of you act like your life revolves around this game, while waiting for Guild Wars 2 play something else, they're only about a million other games out there. Seriously A-net practically gave you a new game every year and you complained about all of them, let them take their time on this one so maybe you guys won't complain.

I beleive there has been concept art in the form of Sylvari, but not much beyond that. I agree that this game is very quickly turning into a phantasm.

If they didn't announce it at all people would be wondering what was up. Lose-lose.

I predict some form of alpha test release middle of next year and a full release in april of 2010 so you might just as well go play something else it's still a good almost 2 years away before you get your grubby whinning QQing hands on it.
