Survivors runs?
ALF71BE
I'm wondering, what are these all about? I see constantly in Services section, KC - Lutgardis survivor run, and I'd like to know what it is about before buying it or even starting my own.
My best guess is that you get ran all the way just said above.
But.
What happens with the faction you gotta have to be allowed to follow the storyline (quest Befrineding the Luxons)? What about side quests? The runner has also to do "The Eternal Grove"?
Thanks for your responses/help.

the whole point of those runs is to run you so that you will be able to either HFFF yourself or to get a runner to do it for you. These quests give a fairly hefty amount of experience( for the time it takes to finish) thus allowing you to get the survivor title easier

Yeah so the point for survivor runs, you play yourself in KC, as a survivor you aim for Legendary survivor, you pay someone ~20k and he finished missions & primary quests for you until you're at Lutgardis, there you can Hfff And get Legendary Survivor without any risks real easy & earn +100k while you do it..

Isn't the OP's question asking how the run deals with the 10k faction quest? Wouldn't a runee still be required to gather Kurzick faction to complete Befriending the Kurzicks?
As for what would happen to your Luxon faction, nothing. You can have both Kurzick and Luxon faction at the same time. It's only when you hand in faction for one side (things like raising Alliance rep, jade/amber, passage scrolls, etc.) that you lose faction for the other side. Completing quests like the two "Befriending the *" quests won't remove any faction you have for the other side.
EDIT - and yeah, if I were considering buying such a run, I'd want to discuss that 10k faction quest before paying. I don't see how they could run that for you. Seems to me like you'd have to gather the Kurzick faction for yourself. But Kurzick faction is linked to your whole account, not each character. So you could do things on your other, non-Survivor characters to earn faction.
EDIT 2 - Regarding the helpful posts below, yep, I was mistaken
It's the 15k armor town I was thinking of that would require the 10k faction quest. I get the HFFF town confused with the 15k armor town. For some reason, they've always seemed similar to me. Sorry for the confusion.

It seems to me that if the runner is running you to the point where you can HFFF (such as Lutgardis) he would have to complete one of the befrending quest, either Lux or Kurz, as part of the service.
MisterB
Befriending the Kurzicks is not required to get to Lutgardis Conservatory. All you have to do is complete all the primary quests and missions between KC and HzH, and then run from HzH through the Ferndale explorable area to Lutgardis.
Hollygen
Since The quest used for HFFF at Ludgardis is one of the major sources of faction specifically for the Befriending quest, it makes sense it would be early enough in the map that you don't need to have completed Befriending to get there

I have done this run over a dozen times now for various Guru members, so here's a list of what exactly goes into it:
Mission Runs (typically from Vizunah Square through Sunjiang District)
Quest Runs (typically from Welcome to Cantha/Master's Burden to Journey to HzH)
Zone Runs (House Zu Heltzer to Lutgardis)
Throughout nearly all the missions, the survivor can be afk. In some missions, automatic cutscene teleports can place the survivor in significant danger, such as in front of the Kraken in Boreas Seabed. Many of the quests require the survivor (or the runner if he can obtain the quests) to follow along to talk to NPCs and get into some of the locked outposts. Befriending the Kurzicks is not needed, because the Eternal Grove is not needed to get to Lutgardis,.

Hey here's a crazy idea, get to lvl 10 on your own. Run yourself to Gunners Hold. Do the Boxing quest over and over. And there ya go Survivor in a few hours and you saved yourself a 100k.

And I don't have EotN, so, well.
My main doubt was about the quest Befriending the Kurzicks, but I just realized it's in Lutgardis and not Vasburg, always get those two wrong. Also I wanted to know if the runner had to get the title by HFFF'ing in the end of the journey, which would mean like 70 hour of job... Now I see it's not.
Thanks the answers, you can do now whatever you feel like with this.
