When a Scythe Mastery attack hits: whether it is a Scythe Attack or a Melee Atack, does it hit all 3 targets for the + dmg? [skill]Victorious Sweep[/skill] for example, if I manage to hit 3 targets, would I get the +dmg to all 3 targets and possibly 3 health gains? If so, I keep seeing [skill]Eremite's Attack[/skill] in a lot of build, it looks so inefficient relative to [skill]Victorious Sweep[/skill].
Question about [skill]Eremite's Attack[/skill], does the foe I am hitting count as a "adjacent foe"? If not, I could possibily do no extra dmg? What are your guy's thoughts on Eremite's Attack?

The reason why people take 3/4, 1 sec activation time skills is for DPS.
A regular attack skill has 1.3 second activation time, whilst a 3/4, and 1, second activation time activate in this time. (It's bugged, well "intented feature" tough, as most 1 sec cast time attack skills are infact 1/2 a second)
By using this after a regular attack, or attack skill, you can increase our DPS without an IAS.
In other words:
[Wounding Strike] + [Eremite's Attack] and [Mystic Sweep]
Can create about the same DPS (or More) then a Derv with regular attack skills and [Heart of Fury]
+ it looks cool to see a derv swing a heavy scythe twice within a second at foes...

The effect doesn't make sense to me either, but when you use it in RA, you will see the difference. Usually emite's hit like 50+ dmg.
And as for Victorious Sweep, no, it says TARGET FOE, so it's just the foe you're trying to attack at, not the adjecent foes around your target.

So would this be a decent combo?
[skill]Pious Assault[/skill] [skill]Victorious Sweep[/skill] [skill]Eremite's Attack[/skill] [skill]Chilling Victory[/skill]
one after the other? BTW I am a Ranger screwing around with a lot of builds =p, I can afford the energy (I think)
or Maybe...
[skill]Pious Assault[/skill] [skill]Victorious Sweep[/skill] [skill]Chilling Victory[/skill] [skill]Eremite's Attack[/skill]
Suggestions?

With Victorious sweep the health gain will only trigger once. The condition is dependent on the the health of the target foe, not any foe hit. Even if you hit 3 enemies who have less health than you, you will only gain health once because it checks the target foe only.
It's actually 1.75 secs for a normal scythe attack but yes you have the right idea.

So say I combine: [Victorious Sweep] with [Eremite's Attack], the time it takes me to activate victorious Sweep would be 1.33 secs? while Eremite's Attack would only take .75? |
