Hey guys! I just started back on Guild Wars, and was wondering about some info on a build that I recently put together for PvE. Please let me know what you think as I'm a bit rusty on all of this :]
[Avatar of Lyssa][Faithful Intervention][Heart of Fury][Mystic Vigor][Eternal Aura][Mystic Sweep][Eremite's Attack][Lyssa's Assault]
Tell me how you think I could do better on it :]
Dervish PvE Build?
Nightfall Awaits

not to bad it will work fine for pve
MagicalHobo
I'd replace [Faithful Intervention] with [Aura of Holy Might] in there. It'll greatly increase the damage you do with your scythe, even with a low rank in the Luxon/Kurzick title.
Nightfall Awaits
I'd do that, but sadly I can't find a Factions key :/ I kinda want the box so I can't buy one from any local store :/

[[aura of holy] is one of the best damage enhancing skills in the game. GIT FAXIONS NAO!!!

draxynnic
Sounds like the OP is trying to.
Do you have EOTN? If you do, I'd be inclined to try replacing Lyssa's Assault with Zealous Sweep for the higher damage and chance of actually getting energy back from its use rather than just offsetting the cost.
Radiant Scythe is also decent combined with Avatar of Lyssa - most effective as an opening move, of course, but it still has a decent damage bonus at lower energies as long as you don't go all the way to the bottom.

Ehh, like I said, I'm just starting back on Guild Wars :/ I quit just as Factions was being taken off shelves, and EOTN was released. I am, however, planning on getting them both quite soon. If I can find a retail box for Factions in a local store -.- I'd rather not buy it from the net, but if it comes down to it, I will. EOTN will be easy to grab though :]

Um... I kind of harp on this in these forums and I'm going to do it again. Every frontline build used for standard PvE NEEDS deep wound... NO MATTER WHAT!!! deep wound pwns.
[build=Wounding Strike Dervish;AqByAgHwMXMh4+ZUex4]
Signet of Mystic Speed instead of the Necro skill... screw you team builder!!!!
I heard this build still works

Pfeh. True PvE Derv domage comes from [[Chilling Victory] - that's the skill you want to be hitting on recharge in mobfights.
Speaking PvE, D/W is the way to go imho. It offers [[Wild Blow] and [[Protector's Strike], the former just being a straight up blessing against those annoying Rangers you'll encounter (oh, and scythe crits HURT), the latter being absolutely SICK on any Derv... especially on a Lyssa bar. Mobs either act or run around, which means you'll deliver punishing damage either way.
I ain't even started on [Save Yourselves]... cuz ya don't have Factions yet.
@ Brian: tons of Blossom spammers running no DW (for y'know, more Blossom spamming) and do just fine. Massive AoE domage tends to make up for such perceived deficiencies... and then some.
