Vazunah Square local

I suppose this is the right place to ask, if not then please either point me there or move the thread.
I have a Dervish I am currently getting titles on. I've mostly finished the ones I want to bother with at Elona and am on to Cantha.
Of those I have I want to get both the Skill Hunter and Explorer would be helped immensely if I had access to Vizunah Local. Every time I have tried to get in a party of people doing Mayhem in the Market it falls apart before leaving town for various reasons (yes, I've done done all the requisite missions too, at least according to the wiki - I have masters on all but Vizunah, eternal grove, and Raisu palace which I have expert on - missed the %@#$@$# time on both Vizunah and Raisu by under 5 seconds on my first run through).
If anyone here would allow me to tag along (and any of my heroes if you want to go that route). For the most part I can run any build you want (though there are a few elites I still do not have unlocked so I can't totally run *any* build) if you are one that cares about such thing.
If you want to "run" it for me (that is I do nothing while you go do your thing - you can also use my heroes there if you like) then I'm willing to pay a reasonable sum for that too, I've done the quest enough I don't care which way I get there.
Either message me here or my IGN is Isis the Red, thank you.

As a dervish it is impossible for you to get into the local quarter of vizunah square (I'm pretty sure), so you'll have to do it in the foreign quarter and hope to join up with a human played local team, to increase the chances of this go to a more populater district.

I know you can get into Vizunah Square (Local) once you complete the game on that particular non-Factions character. You have to tag along with local characters who're doing the quest to get there, though.
It worked for me, although I'm not sure if it's since been changed.

Wrong.
After completing Factions, I wanted this outpost. So I went to the Marketplace and just searched for someone doing "Mayhem in the Market" - final part, where you have to go through the Undercity. And there I was, at Local quarter.
I "think" that as long you have Zen Daijun and Vizunah you can access it, though not sure. For Zen Daijun you also need Minister Cho's mission.
Shouldn't take more than 10 minutes finding someone (not a party, only one) that needs it. Ask if you just can tag along, and there you go.

You need to have all of your primary quest done in order to enter that place. just did it on my proph ranger.
Best way is to help a player who's got the quest to get there.

I know getting to Foreign Quarter is possible on Canthan characters once you have beaten Imperial Sanctum, the same is probably true

I know it's possible also - I don't know exactly what the requirements are as I have only done it on title hunters and, therefore, have pretty much done everything else. Both Wiki's list completing Zen Daijun as the only requirement.
It is getting harder to get a group though. There aren't nearly as many new characters going through there and most are guild groups or do not want Dervishes. My ele didn't really have a problem (amusingly enough I play a Dervish better than my Ele but the latter is a "preferred" class). Hence I asked if someone would be willing to let me go along or even pay to be "run" there (even though that really isn't a run). I just want the freaking place and I've been trying for a week now - it hasn't been failure once out, none of the groups even make it that far. They get mad that they can't get a full human party and leave (don't know if they go hench, wait on their guild, or what).
I'm not in a guild either, I'm pretty much a loner and this is one of things that bites us. It's not a big deal and I may just skip it.

Umm never noticed lack of newbs, may be the playtimes?
If you still need help on Saturday/Friday night, I could help you by starting from Local and trying to synch, let's see what happens.

Probably, I play after 2:00am Eastern, there definitely have never been the same amount of people on then (though once the regions merged it got better for a while). There seems to be a single person asking about once every thirty minutes which leaves me with a max of around 3-4 tries - but they always want a full human group and will not wait or do hench/hero.
I can usually make it on at a "normal" time if I knew I would get going (especially if someone was willing to basically run me there, but that isn't a requirement), I just don't have time to try and find a group until it's most likely too late to have enough people to make the group. However Wednesday is usually a good day for me to get on in the early evening so I will try it then (I usually spend that time trying to sell tomes and such). I thought trying this may work, if not oh well - kinda surprised me the number of posts

What title are you working on that requires access to the Local Quater for a foreign character?
You may not need to access the Local Quater at all.

You can get Canthans there before that, my Sin got into Forgein Quarter before getting past Nahpui. She tagged along with a forgein character though
Evil_Necro
What skill(s)? Both Local and Foreign have the same bosses, except of course for explorer title.
Also, don't forget Newbie Island's mission places, need to finish the game then drag someone local I think.
Good luck for title chasing...

As respecting titles, I've seen a map in unofficial wiki from cantha 100%, not including Local Quarter (yes including towns and outposts). So it's possible but guess you need to enter the restricted areas in the outposts and the Boardwalk for cartographer.
For title hunter you can get them all in Dragon's Throat.
The possible hard part would be doing it in HM, in which case synch'ing with the other side can make it hell easier. Though I did it with H/H and followed wiki's advice on bringing heavy party defense.

Sorry, I think it is misunderstood what I meant (I wondered what you meant by syncing and I figured I would just find out then - that makes sense now, I assumed there was some map trick I wasn't aware of as I don't generally keep up with it). I'm not looking for the *mission* areas, I'm looking to use the outpost as a waypoint to some elites and quests in the undercity and the surrounding areas. For a foreign character that can not enter that outpost everything right in there is a long trek from someplace. This is especially true when capping different professions as you have to go back to an outpost to switch professions. Since I generally only have many discrete short periods of time to play in it can be a real time saver for me - I can't go to a single area and "do everything" in a single sitting, I have to do it piecemeal. When you only have several 20 minute periods to play in when something takes 15 of those to get someplace every time it kinda limits what one can do. I figured while doing the rest it would also be some easy cartographer points to boot. Plus I'm a sort of a completest and it irritates me my main title hunter doesn't have that outpost on the map. Oh, and no need to be drug to the newb isle - just talk to one of the boat people (don't recall the name off the top of my head). Though for the boardwalk area you have to wait for a gaming weekend. |
