How Do I get Olias 16 Death Magic?
EgyptianGhost
I keep reading how people have get it to 16 death magic but I can't seem to. What am I doing wrong? I'm not a pro at the game so dont flame me for asking, It's just that I had given him the max 12 attribute points in death magic and then a sup rune on his chest so its 15, but then I couldn't work out how to raise it higher so I added a minor rune of death magic on another piece of armour and its 15. This is probably because they don't stack. So how AM I to go about getting it up to 16 so I can get him 10 minions. Thanks for any help.

Headpieces in heroes only give +1 of any attribute when you actually apply a rune to it (the headpiec). If it has no rune, then it's wasted potential.
So put a DM superior rune on the head:
12 + 1 (head) + 3.
If you'd like for SR, for example, salvage that superior Death Magic and put a SR one instead, in the headpiece, for extra 4 points in SR. Hero armor won't break by salvaging.

1 up and 2 down
Put the sup death rune on his head armor piece.

OP, you should read on the wiki about rune placement and armor chance to get hit. Most hits occur against the chest, so you are better putting a +armor rune there (or an attunement/health). Each part has a different chance to be hit.

I WTB a +armor rune 100k+100e
Vitae and attunement are global, there's no such thing as x health for your chest, y health for your arms, etc.

Sup runes on heros is usually a bad idea the -75 health isnt worth it in my opinion.

You missed his point, there's no such thing as a survivor rune.

runes/insignias... you really need something to flame on?
And actually having less health on a MM isn't a bad idea. You'll sac less from a BotM, and if you really have troubles, just bring PS or the blood magic enchant thing that redirects 75%damage to your minions.

That's right, superior rune on a MM is not as big a deal as long as you build around it. With a superior rune, you also have more and higher level minions to help out your team and reduce life sac.
If you play it smart, you know that enemies tend to target party members with lower health, so you know who to bond, or cast PS, or protective bond. This way, you make your MM's lower health work FOR you instead of against you since you can predict who the enemies would go for. Also, since the MM is usually surrounded by his minions, it also helps to draw aggro to them and away from the other squishes on your team.
