I am Luxon (don't know why, first quest I guess), I have just started HFFF and now have 10k Kurcick to spend, and nowhere to use it.

Can I "Befriend the Kurzicks" now? Or would joining a Kurzick guild allow me to farm these points?

I finished Factions on multiple characters but don't get the whole Kurz/Lux thing, I don't ever PvP, so choosing a side never meant anything to me.

You can use the faction to get amber chunks in House zu Heltzer if you're trying to get rid of the faction.

There isn't a faster method of getting faction than HFFF. Joining a Kurzick guild wouldn't help you out in that regard.

Befriending the Kurzicks won't take away the 10k faction, it only requires that you have it.

If you're just looking to unload the points, go to House zu Heltzer and buy some amber. If you're going for the title, then you'd be better off using the points for the Kurzick pve skills, as you get double title points for that. Also, joining a Kurzick guild gives the added benefit of donating to the alliance for double point rewards.

No, you need to take the quest first, "befriending the Kurzick" then it will automatically update as complete.

If not sure how, take quest from Jamei in Maatu Keep (Journey to HzH) then from there take the quest from one of the dude standing near the flags.

How do I get the Befriending the Kurzick quest, its not offered to me, I checked in Maatu Keep, there are no quests available to me there, is this because I already chose Luxon?

The NPC's in HzH won't deal with me because of my affiliation with Luxon.

That allows Count zu Heltzer to offer you the Befriending quest.

It doesn't matter which side you chose, you can still do the quests for either.
Only difference allegience makes is for AB and donating faction.

If you want to change your allegiance, then speak to the Kurzick ambassador while you have the 10k faction.

I think you need to finish the game 1st then.

Thats the only possible solution. Other would be if you already done it (but judging from your response, maybe not).

Finished all the 4 games including EoTN, got master in all or HM in EoTN.

If you have 10k faction in both Luxon and Kurzick, I don't think either side will deal with you. You have to have less faction in one side than another.

If you can already get into HzH, you've already done Jamei's quest. You get the befriending quest from Count zu Heltzer.

You are Luxon because the guild you are part of chose to be Luxon - You are what your guild is.

As has been said - if you are looking to do the title track for "Friend of the Kurzicks" etc by HFFing, then you really need to join a Kurzick guild to donate to.
this is because
a) you can donate to the guild (and get 20k towards your title for each 10k donated)
b) If you buy amber then you dont get the double reward (ie buying 10 amber for 10k = 10k towards title).
c) Being in a Luxon Guild with Kurzick faction will create problems for you talking to the Luxon NPC's

You can exchange your Kurzick faction with a Kurzick Bureaucrat in HzH - There you will see the options available.

If however you are talking about the "Befriend the Kurzicks" quest, then as was said above, this is available from Count Zu Heltzer. Note that after completing this quest, you will still have the 10k of faction to spend (on scrolls to Urgoz/amber etc).
