Is there any way to kill the wind riders? I usually run past them, but this is a problem when a Root Behemoth is stuck smack in the middle of the group. I can't pull one at a time because if I attack one, they all come.
Also, I currently have a skill slot open, which I put Ebon Vanguard Assassin support in as a temp, which actually helps a lot. Any suggestions for Variants?

That is what i use, for the wind riders, activate troll befor you agro, then just poison one and hit it a few times with your arrows.. and run away, and just keep doing that till you kill the mob.

I think the problem is how complicated your build is, all you really need is [Apply Poison][Troll Unguent][Storm Chaser] and if you see the need [Distracting Shot].
If you really want to kill the wind riders throw in [Incendiary Arrows]. Fire a shot into the group and kite away eventually degenerating them to death.
Works like a charm for me, and I don't see the need to make it any more difficult than that.

Thats what I use, Poison Wind Riders one at a time, if you Dshot a hex, then two, Use Troll BEFORE attacking wind riders, Run away once they are poisoned, they degen to death, Use Remove Hex AFTER you get away.
Slow, but safe.
I think the tripple shot is better than Dual, I'm just only Lux rank 2, so yeah.....

Wind Riders do poor wand damage and -5 degen with [[conjure phantasm], the worst thing they do to you is [[cry of frustration], so if you are not using skills then they won't be hurting you much. Any kind of preparation for extra damage will kill them fast enough and skills like [[feel no pain] will cancel most of their damage. I use [[Poison Arrow] and [[Kindle Arrows], Also [[vampirism] works well. You can Troll up against them very easily just by counting them, spam [[Poison Arrow] to sucker their [[cry of frustration] off them and then [[troll unguent] up. Only groups of 5+ should give you a problem, and even then all you have to do is hit and run, the bosses are easy too.
But why bother, just keep runnning past them (don't try and run past the ele bosses, Vizz is okay though), so what if there is the odd behemoth you can't get to? You can get most with running and use of elevation+flat bow. At the end of the run, just die and re-zone after the rez. You should be able to get 6-8 axes per hour.
