yes you can run GW on it, but it will run poorly.

intel GMAs are terrible for playing games. if you want to play games on that laptop, upgrade to a nvidia or ATI radeon graphics chip.

Lol - have you ever tried to "upgrade" a laptop's video?

@nick23 - it will play GW, but probably not very well.

it's a dell. it's made to order.

by upgrading, i mean selecting the geforce/radeon graphic chips in their customization webpage.

My Dell 1521 came from Wal-Mart - they barely knew what it was, let alone how to "customize" it.

(And there is no other option for graphics on the 1525 btw.)

It'll run fine, it is a GMA X1300 after all

With that processor and that amount of ram the only ting holding it back from killing GW is the integrated graphics. Lag is more related to your ISP/connection than to your system's specs....

Are you getting this custom made from Dell's website?

* BTW - what is your budget? If you let us know how much you can spend and what you want to do with your new pc, then we can help you find the best bang for your buck. *

I do hope that you are joking. :/
The integrated graphics that the OP stated are CRAP for gaming. Period.

even if you do, you can't install it. for the most part, laptop graphics cannot be upgraded.

well, if you already have the game and the laptop, go ahead and install it and try it out, just be forewarned that it will not be a very impressive performance.

The "graphics processor" that you have is literally part of the motherboard, it's not really a video card in and of itself - you can't replace it or add a better one, without changing the entire motherboard, which might create other problems, so basically - you are stuck with it - unless you buy an entire new computer.

*by all means try it though - you have nothing to lose*
