help please.. simple question couldnt fine with search

used the seach function on here as well as the search function on gw wiki and couldnt find anything helpfull

how does someone who started in tyria with prophecies switch to a secondary from the other chapters?

do i have to run the factions campaign to get to have an assassin seconday or?

where do i have to get to in order to change to assassin secondary?

i dont really know anything about changing secondary with the other 2 chapters so any help would be amazing, thank you everyone

You have to own Factions to make an assassin secondary, and you can only change your secondary after you've ascended. In Factions, that means you have to get thru Napui Quarter to Senji's Corner where the skill changer is. It will cost you 500 gold.

If you own Nightfall, you have to do "Hunted!" and open the Command Post. The skill changer there also charges 500 gold, but you can change to secondary professions from both Nightfall and Factions, and "Hunted!" is a very easy quest!

You can't change to assassin on Prophecies. That campaign has secondary profession quests that let you change/add secondaries. It costs no gold, plus they are worth 1k XP each.

So, in answer to your question: yes, you have to go to Cantha or Elona in order to make an assassin secondary.

If you already ascended thru proph and know how to change your secondary and can then all you need is to own the campaign of what secondary you want map travel to the Great Temple of Balthazar and talk to the Profession Changer and for 500g he will change your secondary for you.

Ah. Never gone thru the Great Temple of Balthazar route, so thanks for that info!

If you are Ascended and have Factions you can change your secondary to Assassin at the Great Temple of Balthazar. In the same sense, you can change to secondary Dervish or Paragon if you have the Nightfall campaign.

Otherwise you'll have to reach certain locations within Factions and Nightfall to change them.
