Does it still work? I need to make more money, and being a ranger, thats hard to come by. I've decided to solo trap the uw and have been looking at this guide but I have my doubts if its still even possible to do so.

If there are any new builds, those would be appreciated.

That build you was looking at still works, did a video of it. Shows how to trap most of the coldfire's, so if you need to take any out you will know how.

All you need is: Radiant Armour and your best energy staff.

Being a Ranger I assume you have a bow to pull mobs if need be. Using a shield when luring to traps helps as well.

Being,
On the staff do you want a +15 eng -1 or just a +5 head and +5 > 50.
Just wasn't sure if the -1 pip is worth the extra 10 energy or not.

Thanks,

Krat

If you have to choose between the two, always take the +5 Insightful with +5^50%. The extra 10 energy you gain from the +15 -1 will end up costing you energy after 30 seconds.

If you can carry both, then the extra 10 energy can be helpful as a swap a few seconds before you pull if you run out of energy and have traps recharged.

You typically only run out of energy with multiple 25 energy skills, such as Echo Dust, so Being's build should work with just a +15 energy staff. These trap builds predate the +5^50% inscription from Nightfall, after all.
