hello,
I'm using a moderated 55-monk/mesmer build to farm elementals HM.
the idea is to exchange [balthazar's spirit] + [essence bond] with a mantra. in my case it is [mantra of frost], cause I farm frozen elementals and their boss, elsnil frigidheart. this way, I get a free slot and still get the energy back. free slot can be used with [castigation signet], [pain inverter] or whatever.
question is, do you use similar builds to farm elementals and where ?
the great thing about elsnil's bodyguards is that they are all frozen elementals and there are no imps or avalanches around ( = no interrupts ).

You shoule be able to farm the lementals outside of Sardalec and in the Old Ascalon region using the same tactic I think. I know they are earth eles but I've never actually farmed there before with mantra of earth so i'm not 100% sure there regular attacks do earth dmg or just physical dmg.
Definatly worth a shot though, I know there are a few bosses around there as well.

The Hulking Stone Elementals outside Sardilac do physical damage, except for the one boss that does earth. Outside Serenity Temple, again it will be mostly physical damage from Hulking and Boulder Elementals, plus some earth from the Stone Furies. To use Mantra of Earth, you also need to have Stone Striker to perform the damage conversion, so this combination isn't possible for a monk.

Sardelic i tend to use 55 mo/n and i use spoil victor and necrosis - doesnt cause spreading and you can easily mob them up.
Also tried it as 55 mes/mo but took longer but was fun.

[pain inverter] on 55hp?? is that a joke?
[spoil victor] or [ether phantom] + [cry of pain] are much more better !

So PI + SV = pwnage?

Oh wow. I sure hope those were jokes as well.
All grammer aside, not only are you using 2 skills to do a measly 100 dmg every 12 seconds (assuming you have maxed title anyways) you also need to have the enemy use skills so you can inturupt them. Thats a terrible combination. The very least you could do is actually use a useful mesmer hex like [Ether Nightmare]
Shaygo my advice would be to try the areas said and use the Mo/N or N/Mo. Also if you still want to save that skill slot I'm pretty sure you can get away with just one of the e-management skills. I have several 55 builds that only need one.
If you dont want to/cant use SS or SV you could always use Shield of Judgement. Slower though. For that I would suggest dropping EB or BS for [Blessed Aura].

[Cry of Pain]'s damage is dealt if the target is suffering from a mesmer hex. They do not need to be interrupted for the damage.
It's still an awful idea though, and PI is still good.
