What to do with Gold items?

Soo, around 2 weeks ago I started playing Guild Wars again after having a break of around 16 months or so. Anyway, one thing im wondering when getting gold drops, what to do with them to maximice profit?

Thing is that as most of you prolly already know then people buy gold items at 5k for 7 of em, unidentified that is ofcause.

So, because Ive often identified a gold item, only to recive something really bad, then im wondering when to ID, and when to sell unid'.

Like right now, I have a few gold Titan armors dropped by the Hard Mode Titans that you find during the Defend Kryta quest. Should i ID these? Or sell off unid.

But also for normal useable item I sometimes struggle to see if I should ID or not. I always ID stuff that have high hp mods and similar things you can see by equipping em, but other than that, what would yield the most profit?

Id, or sell unid?

Just ID stuff, getting a sup vigor can still be nice.
Also, don't forget to pick up the blue armors! Those are where the real money lies these days. minor energy, soulreaping, attune, radiant, survivor etc etc., those are the runes that are worth most nowadays.

The market being what it is you are very unlikely to make any real cash selling your gold weapons, though I would say ID armour because runes can still make you a few easy k.

The only reasons to ID other golds are if you are going for the wisdom tag, if not then it is very unlikely that you will make more than the 5k for 7 unid'd; or because you sell the mods. I have no idea if that will net you more profit though to be honest, as I don't bother trading them.

Just MHO of course.

honestly, i'm a bit of a cheater when it comes to selling items unid'd. if it's a weapon or shield, i equip it to see if there is a +30 mod on it. you can tell by watching your health bar, btw. if there is a +30, i id it, salvage the mod, and sell that since they're usually worth 5-7k. i always identify gold armors just on the off chance that i get a sup vigor or monk rune. sup vigors are worth 15-18k and most sup monk runes are worth 1-3k.

I try to only ID when I know there's a +5e or +30 HP mod on it which I might need (See joshuarodger's post on how to check it unid), or if its an armor, but then I end up ID crazy and ID everything else anyways. :-P

But it's best to just sell them unid.
