Reformatting comp questions

Yeap I came here before because my guild wars was crashing and you guys refused to help me because my windows is cracked. So I'm wondering if you guys can help me fix this. Took me a few weeks but I managed to find my Windows CD and I'm wondering how to do this. I understand I need a form of CD key thing in order to install it, but I have no clue where to look for it. Google says the side of my computer or the case of the CD but it is on neither :S.

Also, I own two computers, and this Windows XP and legit CD is already installed on one. Can I use the same CD key on my other new computer in order to install Windows legitly or does the CD Key only work on one computer at a time. Cheers for any help, I think I fail at google >_>;

I don't recall your other post - but if I understand you want to restore your PC to factory condition? If so, you ought to be able to do that through the BIOS... without the windows cd.

If you're a student you can get Microsoft products for 80%-90% less than retail stores (ask someone from your school).

Or if you're an IT professional you can use MSDN (Microsoft Developer's Network) to get operating systems for free.
