Temple of Ages frustration

So I started playing again and I wanted to do underworld in Hard Mode. But when I go to ToA all I see is, "GLF Vale, MTN, Terra" etc. But seeing as how I just started playing again I have no idea what anyone is talking about. I assumed Terra to be an Obsidian tank of some sorts, wether it be Ele, Warrior or Dervish but I guess I was wrong.

Nobody there will bother to explain what they are either. Same witht he necro UA bar.

It seems people expect other players to automatically know every single little name change for stuff at any moments notice. How am I supposed to find a group if everyone I know stopped playing?

Can someone point me in the right direction for these builds so I have some clue as to what is going on please?

this is probably one of the most frustrating things about online gaming...(re)joining a game midstride. expecting people to know everything without considering their situation..and no one is about to teach you what is meta. your best bet is to find a guild. usually they're more understanding in a situation like yours.

you should have been around before the ursan nerf...i tried getn into DoA runs and they ONLY wanted full ursan teams with FULL cons sets

More like that's how they were taught and are no longer willing to mix it up(or otherwise incapable of accepting anything else), especially when pug'ing.

Cons are the spine of most builds for Elite areas no one said you have to use them you can do UW clears with the builds they are using now with some minor changes and you loose the efficiency. There is a reason they are called HM UW SC (Hard Mode Underworld Speed Clear) take away the cons you take away the speed. UW, FoW, The Deep, Urgoz, DoA can all be done HM oldschool Tank and Spank but who wants to spend 2-5 hours doing one area. In the time you finish a HM UW with out cons Tank and Spank you could of done 4 Speed Clears. 4 UW chest vs 1 UW chest think about it real hard I'm sure it will come to you eventually.

That's life bro, people expects you to be super-man, know everything and can do anything, even though you're new at this. And yeah I feel the same thing, people usually just ignore these who ask and deem them as "newbys who can't play". I feel for ya.
