ok so i currently own nightfall and i love to pve and am getting into a little pvp for down time. i'm ready to get another section of the guild wars universe but just one section.

my first question is should i get the eye of the north platinum pack or the factions platinum pack?

stuff to base answer on:

- i want to go where there are a lot of people using team work to overcome tasks
- i need somewhere that has some good farming areas
- i mainly pve
- more classes is a good thing but not if it renders me from getting more money
- I love to use teamwork (i used to instance A LOT back when i played wow...)

thank you for your replies and answers. its well appreciated. thank you and im sorry if this Q was answered in some other post or sticky that i couldnt find...

Given your criteria, I'd suggest GWEN over Factions. While it's hard to get a group anywhere these days, it seems like more people are playing GWEN than Factions.

I think the farming options will be better in GWEN for you, too. There are lots of PvE-only skills that probably help in farming. The drops in GWEN are inscribable and most of the newest FotM skins are there, too. So I'd think GWEN farming would yield more drops you could trade with other players.

You might also check out the Farming forum here on Guru and see if it looks like more people farm GWEN or Factions.

I don't know what the platinum packs are as opposed to the normal games, but since you're asking for opinions on plat Factions or plat GWEN, I'll just assume the "platness" would apply to either and recommend GWEN.

Why not just get the Factions Platinum that includes GWEN? Assassin's make good farmers, and GWEN PVE is pretty awesome from what I've read. Plenty of skills and end-game stuff.
