Question about the hero's handbook

Hi, I have done all the primary quests in EotN before I realized there is a hero's handbook you can get in the game, and apparently its a very efficient way to farm reputation points with the book. So here is my question: Do I have to redo all the repeatable primary quests to fill the book?

I went to wiki, and saw this:
If you did not have a book in your inventory while completing quest, one of the previously named NPCs will add it to your book for a price of 100 Gold per page (only once per each quest completion).

What does this mean?

It means that you can pay 100g each to fill in the pages for the quests that you already did prior to having the book. You will only be able to do this once though, but it would probably be worth buying them all for the rep points imo.

Who i supposed to talk with to "buy" those quests? And I went talk to the NPC who gave those quests and also the NPC who offered the book, but none of those guys gave you such option...

The NPC who gives you the book gives you the option.

So I clicked the option 3, (click the option 1 also lead you to written evidence)
and there are other 5 options.

option 1) Look at my Hero's Handbook.

option 2) Look at my Master Dungeon Guide.

option 3) I would like an empty Hero's Handbook[Hard Mode].

option 4) I would like an empty Master Dungeon Handbook[Hard Mode].

option 5) Ill be on my way.


Then I clicked option 1, the only option he gave me is,

Option) Ill be on my way.

Since I only fill the 5 pages of that book..(YES YES THATS WHY I NEED TO BUY THOSE QUESTS I ALREADY FINISHED!! )


So......

are the pages you have done these
1. the beginning of the end
2. the missing vanguard
6. northern allies
10. the knowledgeable asura
14. against the destroyes

i could be wrong on this but i beleave that those are the only ones that you can buy for your book and the other pages 3,4,5 7,8,9 11,12,13 15,and 16 can be retaken from the scything pool in the hall of monuments if i am wrong sorry but i have been filling books for my titles and thats the way i do it

You get those for free in every book you obtain.

Once you have completed them, you don't need to complete them again. Just open your book and you will see them.

yes i know that but if you did not have a book when you completed them for the first time like what happened to me you have to pay to have them put in your first book that you obtain

NO, those are free and you got them for every new book and every char if you finished those quests once.

Come on guys!! Someone plz tell me what happed to me!!! Why I Can't buy those stupid quests for my book???!!! Do I need to at least fill halfway of the book (which is 8) to let the NPC do it???

Let's say you did "Blood Washes Blood", but you accidentally left your book in storage, or you forgot to get a new one. When you complete that mission, it won't be filled in your book because you didn't have it with you. If you get your book later and talk to the book NPCs, they'll put it in your book for 100g.

If for some reason the NPCs won't fill in your book, you'll just have to do them all over again.

like i said could be wrong anyways what primary quests are you trying to buy for the book

Thanks Savio, I totally understand that now, but my problem is I CANT find such option at book NPCs. If you read my post above you will find what i mean.

All the others which are repeatable ones... 3,4,5 7,8,9 11,12,13,15 and 16.


I knew I could redo them with my book, but that will waste too much time..

well if you have your book in your inventory and he doesn't offer to put them in your book when you click on written evidence i think you will have to them over.

Why? Thats unfair, lol...Did this happen to anyone else here?? I REALLY need answer to this. I don't believe this is just a game bug to me.
