What is cryway?

Been hearing about it alot since the ursan nerf

[cry of pain] - combined with [Ether Nightmare] and various energy management skills and echoes.

The new PvE skill use abuse.

Cryway uses Cry of Pain's armor ignoring aoe damage from 3/4 characters to spike down foes balled together by a tank (I need to stress here that the CoP echo-chaining builds are not how cryway teams were originally meant to function, but a single spike, much like that seen in PvP).

Bit of history for all those who think its just appeared:
This method was first used by a group of friends who did speed runs in The Deep, shortly after the change to the skill Viper's Defense. The same group of people now hold FoW (19 minutes), Deep (14 minutes) and Urgoz (23 minutes) speed records using varients of the spike concept originally used.

Attention has turned to cryway recently, as an answer to the recently ursan nerf. Unfortuantely for pugs i don't think its quite the answer they have been looking for (how many pug cryway team have you seen form in these elite areas and succeed?)

This is a long explanation but true, basically a bunch of mesmers CoP some poor mobbed creatures asses.
