ABOUT OUR GUILDIES
- Derp leaders and officers are committed to building a strong and loyal playerbase of self- sufficient GW players. Our guild is active by GW standards (close to 70 members with almost 50 them having logged in within the last 24-48 hours).
- The derp leader is committed to growing our guild and supporting officers in the guild with constant and daily communication. The derp leader rarely misses a day of ingame activity.
- The derp officers are adults (ranging in age from their mid 20s to late 30s) who pride themselves on leading groups and building guild bonds. Every single officer logs in on a daily basis (with very few exceptions). They are available to help guildies in times of need and they all have a large variety of level 20 characters to choose from.
- General derp members and officers alike are self sufficient players. Which means that they can complete pretty much any aspect of the game with heros and henchies only. Help is requested only after several failed attempts at doing it themselves.
WHAT WE DO
- The core derp officers and members (about 12-15 of us) log in almost nightly to get together and do “the hard stuff”. We are all about doing elite areas and we work together to come up with new ways of doing the same old things. Diversity in character selection and skill sets help alot.
- We use our own dedicated 50 man Ventrillo server for our groups each night. We discuss builds, we joke, we laugh, we have fun. Vent is required for group runs.
- We work on titles. Most of our core members do anything together as a group and help each other to earn titles.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN NEW MEMBERS
The first thing you should ask yourself before joining is will you fit in?
- Are you looking to work on the hard stuff in the game with the same group of people each night instead of always looking for a group with people you don’t know?
- Can you beat almost every aspect of guild wars PvE in Normal mode with Heros and Henchies? Is that something you would like to be able to do even if you can’t currently?
- Are you a mature individual that doesn’t like to deal with loads of trash talk and childish behavior?
- Derp is looking for more people that will fit in with our core members. People that are outgoing and willing to take the initiative to get to know us, hop on our vent with us and do some runs.
FINALLY, THE RULES
NO DRAMA. We will not tolerate argumentative behavior or bad attitudes on our guild or alliance chat.
- We are not a charity and we won’t run your missions for you. Do not ask us to give you things or try to sell us things. A common mistake new members will make after joining our guild is to ask us for help first thing.
- Remember as a new recruit we don’t know you yet, we are not your friends yet, you need to make an effort to get to know us. We will do our part by trying to get you into our elite group runs all you have to do is join and get to know us.
