Normal Mode Monster Health

Does anyone know how much health monsters in normal mode typically have? Is it the same as the health of a human character of the same level without any health-modifying runes? I'm talking about regular monsters, not bosses or special monsters like wurms. Thanks in advance.

It varies a lot depending on where you are in the game.

What about on average?

I can't give you an average because that would just be the health of monsters around the midpoint of the game. It also depends on the monster.

most likely folllows the basic health formula

100+(n-1), where n is ur lvl

16 = 400
18 = 460
20 = 480
22 = 520
24 = 560
26 = 600

i think those r teh most common monster lvl ranges

Would be very hard to come up with an "average" since the species and level will affect this average. Some creatures naturally have high health while others have low. This is like asking "does fire damage kill all creatures?"

Right, this is what I thought. Does anyone know if most non-boss monsters follow this formula?

I'm not quite sure that, for example, Aatxe or Mindblade Spectres follow that formula... along with a few others...

A level 20 has quite a bit more health than a level 20 player. All monsters seem to have to different HP (not depending on level), for example a lvl 22 Resurrect Gargolye (Monk) has less health than a lvl 22 Flash Gargoyle (Ele).

You can test by whacking them and recording how much damage you have done (as long as they dont get healed / heal). I suppose you could also degen them and work out how long it takes for them to die from degen and then do a bit of maths :P.

Someone already posted how you can find out for yourself in your other thread:

[Grenth's Balance].

As a general rule, most non-boss monsters follow the same formula as players.
