Finishing Prophecies

If you tell us the campaign your char is from, the level of the char, and current location in Prophecies, we can give more specific advice on the best course to fast track to the endgame. For example, if you're a Prophecies char, you have little chance to survive the endgame (or Hard Mode) unless you have Ascended and gotten all of your attribute points, so there are a number of missions and quests that will be required to do this. If you are a non-native char, then you will need to get all your attribute points from the native campaign, but do not need to go through Ascension, so you can skip those missions and quests.
Edit: Running from Beacon's to Droks and straight to THK is suicide, because you will be facing the Mursaat and Jade in that mission without infused armor. So you will certainly want to get infused before going to THK, which will require either a trek to Mineral Springs or doing at least part of the Iron Mines of Moladune mission.

I half agree with BrettM above. While the game would let you skip getting your armor infused in the Iron Mines mission, uninfused armor can make the last few missions harder to survive.
It's certainly possible to face Mursaat without infused armor, but you'll have a lot more degen. I've tried monking uninfused players fighting Mursaat, it's not guaranteed suicide at all. But that was just out of curiosity. If I was monking for a team whose goal was to finish the Muursy areas/missions and someone didn't have infused armor ... I wouldn't put a very high priority on keeping that person alive. H/H monks will use more energy keeping a player w/out infused armor alive; thus leading to a higher chance of party wipes.
IIRC, all your heroes and any henchies in Mursaat-infested areas are infused by default.

Okay, perhaps "suicide" was a bit of an overstatement. But lower level chars get run down to Droks and over to THK without anyone telling them about infusion all the time, so the warning had to be given. Low level + no infusion is about as close to suicide against Mursaat as you'd care to get, especially since they aren't likely to get good monking.
Heroes and pets are born infused. Henchies in the Mursaat missions are infused, except for the Iron Mines mission. Any henchies you pick up in Iron Mines get infused when you do, which lasts them for the remainder of the mission. But don't try taking henchies from that outpost out into, say, Frozen Forest, even if you've completed the mission. Henchies picked up in THK or anywhere in Ring of Fire are infused at all times.
