A Question About Rune of Major Vigor?

Ok, so I had a question that has been bugging me a lot. There's a Rune of Minor Vigor for +30HP and a Rune of Superior Vigor for +50HP but why in the world does the Rune of Major Vigor have to be +41HP? Why didn't they just make it +40 instead?

I've never really thought of or heard of anyone who's really cared. "It's just how it is." is the best answer you'll get.

But it makes my heroes health even since most of them have +29hp upgrades. Yay?

That'd be me. :P Any time I see 556 or 541 hp or something it bugs the hell out of me. I prefer numbers that are evenly divisible by 5 (555, for example). I would much appreciate it if Majors were 40 instead of 41.

its like asking why are black dye black? it just is. if the 41 bothers you use a +29,27,25 etc mod for the weapon/shield and youll get an even health number.

Its +41 because you'll slowly go insane thinking of why theres 41 instead of 40. Anet did this on purpose :F

What's +1 health with a 10% boost? There's your answer...

I'm on of those...I even have to get out of bed at an exact multiple of 10. For instance I can't get out of bed at 8:23, have to wait till 8:30 exactly. All my GW mods and runes etc have to be the same...Multiples of 10

heh, glad to know it isn't just me that does that.

yeah, 41 is very annoying. I often choose minor vigor over major for that reason alone. 11 extra health isn't worth the frustration of having an odd number number of hp. To be honest, I think it's the sole reason why major isn't that much more expensive than minor.

when i first say this i thought, they made it +41 cos at that standard, people would be using +29 instead of +30 cos that would cost alot more. so it would seem that the last digit of their would be 5 or 0
