Good places to train on pre-searing? lvl 8
ImAgainstIt
I'm lvl 8 and can't find any places decent enough to train, I'm pre-searing and will be for a while.

Try the Charr that are on the other side of the wall.

I've tried them, over and over by myself and with other players, but they just mop the floor with me.

Knowing your profession helps.
If you're under level ten, Rurik gives a quest which involves killing Charr at the gate. He and a bunch of other NPCs help, you get experience, and then you can go back, cancel the quest, re-zone to take it again, and do that over and over.
If you're not aiming for LDoA, I wouldn't think you'd need spend any more time in pre-Searing, unless you haven't done all the quests you can to get skills.
If you are, and you already accepted the quest I suggested above, you're doing it wrong.

Not aiming to do LDoA, just killing time until the first 24 hours are up then I can trade.. I accidently sold the thing gwen gives you, and I'm waiting until I can trade it from a new char to a friend to my main char. and until then I feel like getting some lvl's. I'm lvl 8 W/E

I'm lvl 8 W/E To say you can do it again sorta begs it to be confused with a repeatable quest. It's important that when you finish that quest, you abandon it when you're back in town so that you can do it over. Again, this is something that only people going for LDoA would need to pay attention to.
I never tried to do much Charr hunting with a Warrior, but at your level, I'd simply suggest you do it with a Monk or something. Otherwise, I'd just play with another character for the time being.

Yeah, that is what I mean to say, oops. Don't want to mess with another char right now, eventually, but not now, just want to go into post-searing with a good enough char.

The Meth
Level 8 is more then good enough, more important is that you got all of your skills in pre searing.
The beginning of post searing actually starts you out with easier enemies then beyond the wall in pre, you can have 4 people max in a party and get henchmen, and as a warrior you can get armor up to as good as 50 + 20 vs physical, which is heaps better then pre. If you should be doing anything its trying to get some of the materials and gold stored up so when you get to post you can get better armor instantly, though its not required.

odly
take char at the gates quest from rurik, let rurik kill them, collect xp, warp to town, abandon quest and restart
