cof advice for luring murakai to trap?
MercenaryKnight
I seem to be having some trouble when trying to do cof runs. Just trying to get her to follow to the flame spout seems to be really rough even if I walk slowly backwards/ sideways.
So does anyone have any advice or tips as to how to get her quickly into the fire trap or a reliable way?

you just can't get her on to the fire traps all the time

can't do it quickly...just have to keep backing up along the side slowly until she gets over there. Sometimes it takes a few tries, so Pain Inverter in your bar is probably a more reliable way to get her dead faster.

well When I used to do that, after a run or 5 I knew the best place to run back to, maybe it lasts 30 secs to pull her in the traps but it ain't any more.
Maybe if i get my new monk there ill make a map for you.

why even bother? killing her only takes about 2 minutes anyway...

i'm going to second this. Pain Inv + smite = dead REALLY fast. it's just way to much trouble trying to get her to pull.

I've seen some runners do it very fast, and it does speed things up. No idea how, just pointing it is possible.

Easy.
Start on the right side.
Run pass her hugging the left hand side.
Turn around at about five feat from the bridge.
Run back to her.
She will be on the fire trap.

So just curious, is pain inverter better than bringing lod? Since I figured the optional slot of light of deldrimor would help speed up the rest of the run with killing all the undead. But I guess it would help a lot for the boss.

She will be on the fire trap. That is what i do. It works most of the time, if that doesnt work, slowly move back and she will end up on the fire trap. Dont run all the way back to her. Or she'll run away.

i head around the room to the left, wheni get across the bridge, swap to staff, aggro her and have my right side scraping the lava pit, slowly walk backwards. usually works for me

So does anyone have any advice as to whether or not to bring light of deldrimor or pain inverter? Seems like lod would speed up getting to the final boss, where as pain inverter would cut time at the bosses.
No big concern about hidden treasure since running people anyway they always bring lod.

I see a few people missed the point on this one.
Without sacrificing any of your own damage, you can spend a couple seconds getting her on the flame spout, and thereby cut a good chunk of time off of what is normally a 2+ minute fight.
If your trying to do these runs as fast as possible, there's no reason NOT to pull her.

Anyone have a preference/ suggestion as to whether the optional skill should be pain inverter for the bosses, or light of deldrimor for the undead?
