Hi, I heard about this program and was thinking of using it to finish Canthan Cartographer and change the in game cursor to white if possible (I lose the cursor in the heat of battle a lot with current colours )

I got it (Texmod) from Wiki along with a Canthan TPF file and was wondering if anyone else uses this and if it's safe, no keyloggers etc. I asked in game and only reply was that it can screw up your textures but you can reinstall GW if this happens, so I thought I'd check here for a second opinion.

Thx in advance

Its 101% safe no key loggers etc etc etc.

You dont even need to installl when your textures are messed up. Just minimize the game and it will be fixed

The Textmod gotten from the Wiki link is safe. Others may or may not be.

I used Textmod to do the cartography titles, but it caused way to many graphic glitches for me to use it any other time.

i agree with ^, download it only from the wiki website and the same for the mods. its very safe if done this way

Another testimonial. It's safe, but causes some annoying glitches at times. No need to reinstall, though. Minimizing then maximizing usually does the trick for major glitches. Minor glitches may not clear, but you'll be able to play the game and clear that troublesome fog!

I download from FileFront when my computer removes it every day when it scans, I can't work out how to convince it not to delete it but I've re-downloaded and used it lots and lots over the last few months and always been safe

There should be an "exclusion list" for whatever anti-virus you're using. You'd need to put texmod.exe (or whatever) on the list.

textmod (the wiki link anyways) is safe and has never caused me any trouble... it's a big help with that cartographer title
