Star of Faction Transfer

Before you start screaming, let me explain. I am in a very small guild with no hope of getting into an alliance, but I do in the course of playing collect faction in Luxon and Kurzick areas. At the moment I farm Kurzick for my own title but get Luxon too and the only thing I have to do with it is buy a piece of worthless Jade. And having it disapear every time I make a Kurzick purchase is a pain in the well you all know.

So what I am suggesting is a Star of Luxon or Kurzick Faction Transfer. The player would go to the faction rewards vendor and for 1000 faction they would get the points for the faction purchase and have a Star worth 1000 facton to sell to a player in a guild or alliance who needs faction.

This would benifit the smaller guilds and give them a way to help an alliance. We get the faction and as it is now it just goes to waste. It might even bring people back to the Factions PvP areas, which are pretty empty at the moment. This would give people a tangable item to sell and make a bit of profit and keep a lot of faction from going to waste. Thanks

while idea alone imo is not that bad, i really don't think this is needed - it's so since Factions were released and if it was ok till now, we can live with it from now on too

Interesting idea but it would make it too easy for a guild to spike their faction up. And as the above poster pointed out, it would allow alliances to buy towns, which is not good.

But is it really any different than alliances that pay for faction now?

Trading faction for money is bad.

As sort of a different idea, maybe there should be a Star of Faction Transfer that allows you to trade Kurzick faction for Luxon and vice versa?

i like that idea.

might also want to make it cost a little money so its kind of a gold sink.

Luxon and Kurzick faction are not like Balthazar faction or experience.

It's not something to turn into a currency.

Maybe just make it so when you trade for a piece of Jade, you don't lose all your Kurzick faction (and vice versa)?

The Stars of Transfer just seem so trivial to me.

/signed for the concept, but /notsigned for the way you chose to go about it.

Agree on making factions pvp areas more attractive - but no to this

I'm surprised they haven't implemented the Balth faction system to the Kurz/Luxon faction. In that the max faction U can store goes up for each rank you have of Kurz/Luxon. 10,000 R0, 12,000 R1, 14,000 R2 etc... Then U don't have to swap out from your activity quite so much.

I sign because I like the idea of tradable faction: If you're in an alliance that cares little about faction you can make good money by selling yours. So less faction gets wasted.

Hate to break it to you 2. Its a buyable title now. Sure maybe not as fast as it would be if this were to happen but is still buyable. Lfr hfff 100g.

People buy faction now. Used to see it in AB all the time when I did AB.
You just invite the person and pay them to donate.

my guild really doesn't care about faction it might as well go to a guild that does.
