Probability of Salvaging?

Hello,
I want so salvage my Vabbian armor & I wanna get the most Rubies & Sapphires out of it,
If I use a Superior Salvaging Kit(the 2k one) what are the chances(%) I will get all of my rubies & sapphires back?
Or the % on a one peice of armor
Exemple; Vabbian Glove,50% to get Rubies & Sapphires back

It's very unlikely you will get many back. In my experience, when salvaging armor, you tend to get the most common material.

As above ^^ - you may just as well consider those gems gone-baby-gone. There's 0% chance you'll get all of your gems back, and only a very slim chance you'll even get any.

The same as if you used an Expert Salvage it.

I dno't think anyone's ever done a statistical analysis on the subject, But I do know that IF it happens that you do get rubies OR saphires (you won't get both from any one piece), you will more than likely end up with fewer than what you put into it. So, if you want to salvage your armor, you'll just have to bite the bullet and take a chance. You may even end up with whatever other mats you used, including common crafting materials.

Expert and higher salvage kits all have the same chance of success for salvaging rare crafting materials. The chance is 20~25%, though since Vabbian armor requires an additional rare crafting material on top of the gems, your chance of getting back either rubies or sapphires is about 13~18%. Either way, you won't get back both of them or the number of them that you used to make the armor.

I got 1 rubbie back when I salvaged my Derv and Paragon's Vabbian armor's, if that help's you at all.

Little to no chance of getting all, very likely you will get none. Just keep the armor.

i remember salvaging my ele's ancient armor and got about 7 damasks back for the set

I remember salvaging elite armour, I think i got about 15 tanned hide squares or something from it

Not worth the money to tell you the truth. You won't get the materials back, and you'll have lost a full set of elite armour. You'd get more money back just merching the whole lot....

Why do you want to salvage it in the first place?
