We're not getting XTH points until the 11th anyway, so I doubt it'd matter in regards to them

2 x 0 for <1000 guilds = 0. Shame because this was one of the times that bad guilds could actually play each other in tournies.

So I guess there will be alot of Hero Battle afking instead.

Very doubtful as the double (if the same as last time) will only effect the WINs in these areas, not the reward for taking part.

going 3-4 in an HB AT will reward 11RPs instead of 8 RPS - are 3/5ths of an extra key.. not exactly earth shattering... lol

As far as the GvG AT is concerned, well the majority are restricted from any benefit from that - so that ANET just giving extras to their favoured audience anyway (/ end disgust).

where did you get this figure from? If like previous time they will not double the comltion bonus, just the wins reward.

QFT IMHO.

As with any weekend, there is a player base not experienced with a certain style of game play which juuuuust might give it a shot, this coupled with the fact that the player base which does partake in said weekend event will prosper.

From my stand point I could care less about this particular weekend. I do however think it's an excellent idea, as our automated tournament system may appeal to players (and this being a perfect opportunity, well, a POSTED opportunity) for players to toss their hat into the ring.

I don't however see a massive decrease in ZKey prices occuring. Double HA/RA even AB somewhat, yes, this does happen a bit. This weekend though, I think not.

Agree, an entire weekend where a grand total of... 20 or so z-keys are added to the game isn't a big deal.
