Alright, so my idea is that when you affect someone with a condition, they will definitely know they are under a condition. What i mean by this is that, when you blind someone, their screen becomes fuzzy and hard to see (But you can still see the interface like your skills, party, etc.) I think this would give a great effect to the game and make you feal a little more immersed in it.
Here's a list of conditions and what their effect would be:
1. Bleeding- causes visible blood on your character, maybe even some dripping from the top of the screen (not real gorey though )
2. Blind- causes the screen (minus the interface) to go white except for around your character. Similar to if you had tunnel vision.
3. Burning- causes a fire effect around your character as well as the sides of the screen.
4. Cracked armor- causes your armor...to look cracked
5. Crippled- pretty much stays the same (makes you limp)
6. Dazed- causes the effect that happens when you drink alcohol in the game
7. Deep Wound- (can't really think of a good one for this)
8. Disease- (can't think of one unique for this but it may be similar to poison)
9. Poison- Causes the screen to produce the effect similar to the one that happens when you get hit by those darts (found in jokanur diggings and some dungeons)
10. Weakness- Makes your character look like there weapons and armor are hard to carry
Note: All of these effects could be turned off just like the drunk effect. These screen effects could also go farther and be applied to skills as well
Conditions- More of an effect

They would probably have to add in and code a bunch of hard new complicated animations. And some of the effects would be annoying(Blind)

It would be totally optional and I ment it for GW2. They could also scale down my ideas (I was kind of thinking in the extreme ).

It's a very cool idea, but just unlikely to actually happen. My first thought was that prot monks would always have blind on them, until i read the toggle option idea. Eh, i don't know, but i do think this is a cool idea. This is guru however, so everyone you see will be going omgomgomg/notsigned.

Hmm, I'd probably use these once or twice then stop using them. But if you want some serious input: For blind, they should make the screen go black instead. I don't wanna be blinded IRL with sudden flashes of white (assuming my monks don't suck) while playing GW. Also, to paraphrase Maddox: I didn't buy a widescreen monitor to have its pixel real estate wasted firing white pixels!

yay for blinding monks!
hell jus blind everything in sight!
