Will GW work on vista?

I run GW just fine on my laptop wich uses the vista operating system. So as far as your os is concerned no worries my friend.

Edit: To clarify, just be sure your computer can handle running Vista easily, otherwise it may stuggle when you run Guild Wars as well. Slaanesh knows you'll be running other programmes at the same time as well.

Yup, my Vista PC runs Guild Wars just fine. I'd like to note DirectSong works properly on Vista as well.

I'm running Vista Ultimate x64 and other than a random crash every once in a while it runes fine.

Ah yes well, random crashing is a Windows feature and just lets you know that everything is running a-okay.

Also, for clarification, the GW box doesn't expictly say that it works with Vista, because Vista didn't EXIST when GW first came out. It does work with Vista though.

I've never played GW on anything but Vista, and it's perfectly fine.

I can run my game on Vista just fine. I turn off any unnecessary background programs (such as the windows sidebar) to improve performance and reduce risk of crashing.

i would also like to add that vista works, but either make sure that vista came with your computer or that you have enough memory to handle vista as well as GW

it does work with vista, the issue it has is that vista takes a more then average conmputer to run it well

makes usr eyou have more the 2 gigs of ddr2, duo core.

i run at about 130fps i have 4 gigs of ddr a duo core and the hd radion 4870 with 1 gig of ddr4
