Old Launchers

Hi,

Ive got a question. Back before the releases of Nightfall and EotN, you know how there was a new launcher for every game release? Well I think alot of us could agree the one from Factions was the best (It was my favorite at least)

So I was wondering if there is ANY possibilty of using the old launchers? I don't think so really because the launcher and log in window are directly connected to the ArenaNet Server. But I figured it was an interesting question to ask anyway.

No, currently there is no way to change your background stuff at the launch window.

Maybe texmod? but 3rd party stuff gets me jumpy since the rash of hacks, and that sounds like a lot of work, too.

According to Gaile Gray it is technically difficult to bring back the old launchers, so we're probably stuck with the EOTN launcher, at least for the time being.

Well I was expecting that answer, oh well

I thought it would be a cool feature if in the Downloads section of GW Main page you could choose a specific launcher for download, or a skin update or smthing.
