Im gonna buy a new pc. Most of it i have already selected, but im not sure on the CPU. I do alot of multitasking on the PC, so it'll be at least a Quad. But here im not sure which to choose. I have narrowed it down to 3. Those are:
- INTEL Core2Quad Q6600
- INTEL Core2Quad Q8200
- INTEL Core2Quad Q9450
So, any advice. Pro's / Con's ?
The motherboard i will use is a ASUS P5QC (iP45 - S775). It should support any of the 3 cpu's. The Videocart a Asus EAH4870 HTDI and for the PSU 600 Watt.

The Q6600. Cheap, clockable, reliable.

All three of those chips are highly overclockable.
If you're going to overclock, I'd get the Q9450 because it's cheaper as it requires less voltaget overclock, ultimately saving more money on electricity.

What, you mean I'm wrong?

If you haven't bought the anything yet, wait 17 more days for Nehalem. They overclock like mad and are better than all 3 of those CPUs. Truuuust me!
If you already bought stuff, then go for the E8200 or E8400 (8400 is best choice for all PCs) Current quad core stuff from Intel is lacking...
