Since yesterday my dualview option for my Dual 7800gt's has stopped working (first the screen would black out from time to time as usual and i had to reset the options in the Nvidia control panel a couple times to get it back on)
Now it has stopped completely to work, option is still there and checked but the monitor light just blanks on and off as in recieving a temporary signal
O and don't tell to reinstall drivers this is a fresh install off windows XP since 45 minutes
Edit:
According to what i've read from other people on planetAmd64 the green light from the monitor blanking on and off means a slight shortcircuit in a powercapacitator
So i guess the monitor is slowly dying (which confirms my suspections that i had at first, that the screen had been dying for a while now (it's a Viewsonic VX922))
Dual view not working anymore

can you get your hands on a different monitor to verify that? It does sound like the symptoms of a new paperweight on your desk though. :/

Nope only chance getting another screen is buying one and the one i have ordered doesn't come in till friday atleast =(
But i've had problems with that screen for a while now (at least for over a year)
So i just guess that VX922 is ready for the death bin; while it can be repaired like said by some (i'm guessing it is simple capacitator not 100% functioning)
1 it's most likely going to cost more than 249 € (the price of the new screen), and 2 it's probably resurecting a screen out of the death.
Last time i've done that the screen lasted for another half year to a year (was an old CRT which lasted for 6 years (note my pc's are on pretty much 24/7))

Ok i just recieved my new lcd about 20 minutes ago and i can confirm it wasn't dualview not working anymore.
It seems to be the other screen that's just slowly dying (it might still work not sure not going to bother anymore with what's almost a 100 % dead screen)
Thnx for the help offered though elder
