Hi im wondering the fastest way to reach the sulfurous wastes region to cap [weapon of remedy] heres the exact location of the boss who has it. I hope i dont have to progress the NF story to get here as id like to put it on my hero ASAP.

Im a tyrian char level 20 just reached consulate docks dont know my way around elonia that much so what would be the quickest way of me getting to this region to cap that elite??? (im a runner so i can run it np as long as i know where to go etc).

If you're a lazy bastard, just go pvp and get 3k balth faction and buy an elite tome.

there are two options, you can get a run to gates of desolation or through that part of the game till there. It can cost quite a bit though.
If you have enough balthazar faction you can go to the priest of balthazar and buy the skill for 3k faction.
I personally would take the second one since you can probably get it faster that way.
Just FYI, you don't need an elite tome to add it to your heroes as they have access to all skills available on the account not just that character. So if you buy it from Priest of Balthazar you can't use it since it's a PVP unlock but your heroes can.

as you need to do gates of desolation to be able to take rides in the junundu
you can't get to alem without beeing in a junundu as the sulfurous haze will kill you ^^

Unlocking through Balthazar faction is definitely the quickest way, and what Arch said about not needing the elite tome is correct. You can't just get a run to the Gate of Desolation though. You'll need to follow some primary quests to unlock the mission there first. That'll take some time to do.

@ arch psyker - Getting to a place does not mean you can do anything when you get there.
What was meant by Absinth187 is that to reach Alem you need to cross the sulferous areas. You cannot walk on these but need to ride a worm. In order to be able to ride a worm, you need to be able to do the Gates of Desolation mission.
That means you need to progress through the story line.

Just out of curiousity, if he got run to Salhala (or whatever its called) and skip Desolation could he die in the Wastelands and have someone UA him there, after Alem is killed? The area has another wurm there so someone could exit their Junundu use UA and the get back in. Or is he blocked from joining the the party?
