It's actually a question about the forum and not the game.

what is the method by which the title under your forum name ( wild fathfinder etc. ) changes ? is it just a matter of how many posts/threads you have ? any room for peer evaluation ?
I have also seen "special" titles - are they only for mods ?

The "special" ranks are for mods and admins.

Some special ranks also go to "Site Contributors" - the names you see listed in green. Those are people who have done something to contribute to the overall betterment of Guru - oftentimes retired mods, but there are other reasons as well.

It is fun around here but if you post a thread on a question that can be answered by reading the FAQ, then it gets closed and you have to look anyway. So please, read the stickies at the top of the forum and use search.
