This is a small program(Control Panel)http://gweconomy.freetzi.com it has start up parameters and the update button does -image command for those whom have not yet images their Guild Wars Client. It has a Price Check Section that soon will be Using SQL for easier and faster updates by the community. There's going to be an addon soon that will allow player to view
GW armor in 3D with out even having the game or Internet Connection. it will be using DarkGDK C++ game engine and Newton Physics engine to avoid hair
clipping on armor ill just bend around the armor like real hair would do.

I can't even install this to look at it right now, there's a slew of "Error 1308 - Source file not found" error messages when I try. Looks like something that would be very cool once it actually works, though.

I would like to remind everyone to be very careful with using programs that launch programs for you. Until stuff like this is thoroughly scanned, I'd stay away from the Play button, just to be safe.

It's pretty easy to hook stuff with those kinds of buttons to record key presses etc.

Good program though, I'm just too tired and annoyed to actually scan it right now. I enjoy the thought behind the idea tho.

Lol, this is gonna sound stupid and it probably is, but it sounds interessting i just dont get what its for xD
Does it like modify ingame textures so hair styles dont clip?

EDIT: McAfee comes up clean and so does spyware doctor.
EDIT2: Cant install it now xD getting the same errors as above.

Sorry about that i was using .Net framework 3.5 witht the installer.
Im going to fix this tonight and hosted on my home webserver. So, it will only be up for a while i dont want to get spiked. The webserver i hosted it on before doenst accept .exe or . msi files anymore.

Edit: Aghhh, Im goin to have to buy a new PCo host a webserver from home :{

Can't you .zip/.rar the file(s)? You also could host your files on rapidshare etc.

I just hosted a web server from home ill try to keep it up and running as long as possible.

You shouldn't get an error at installation anymore!
The program can now defragment "gw.dat".^^

None of my guildies have had this problem. But yet again they all have .NetFramework 3.5. You guys may have to upgrade the .NetFramework
on your respective PCs; ff i was to downgrade the .NetFramwork to 2.0 or 3.0 the defragment program wouldn't work and i wouldn't be able to add MySQL support for the Price check later on:{!

Shadow Kurd, nice to see that you've found the problem! I haven't installed the program yet. The only thing I want to know how you make this program. U use Visual Basic/Studio? I'm not into programming, but design is easy

If you need help (not in terms of c++ programming, lol) .. or feedback about your program, let me know

Anyway, sounds promising but the pimped out interface and that music... reminds me of the keygen scene. Not my favorite but thats just my opinion.

I filtered the program traffic and logged in GW, no suspicious packets other than the techno music.
If you're paranoid about this just wait until the mods say something about it.

Finally installed the GWMD (Guild Wars Media v4.3.2). Also needed to install .NET Frameworks 3.5 but went great.
I will post some pictures for the people who can't view the website or install the program.

I also don't like the design of the GUI, haha .. but it will be a great program to check price, info about quest etc but please change the GUI.
I can make one if you like, but keep the GUI clean :P

A DarkGDK user eh? Did you get it from the Microsoft links or are you part of the TGC community?

Interesting program, a single app that can provide many features like price checks etc could be very handy. I look forward to the armour viewer

. I agree with others, not entirely keen on the interface, but I think thats more of a preference thing. If you could make it skinnable that would be great.

Not sure why you couldn't do it in .NET 2.0 though - you don't have to use LINQ to connect to MySQL, what are you using in the defragger that's unique to 3.5? Still I wish more people would upgrade to 3.5, I want to start using WPF
