Green smog+Flies??

has anyone else seen this? chars surrounded by green smog and little flies is it the new tonic?

Commonly seen around Kaining center area in Factions, if that's where you saw it then its the result of a partially finished quest.

Taking the quest gives you a chance to drink from a goblet of corruption if you do your stuck with the effects till you finish the quest.

This too will happen to you if you go around drinking from corrupted chalices

In otherwords, a "temporary" condition as a conseqence of drinking from this:

Soz if this is taken as a spoiler of sorts?

Edit: One of my guildies kept it on while he completed Nightfall, eventually complete with his 'mummy-style' Rit armour. It got old after that

it's a really cool look, esp on a Necro, but the side-effects are a biatch, degenning even in PvP last I noticed

I've seen one highranking KoaBD struttin about with it, exuding bad~assedness

Lol If i saw a high ranked koabd... id go wow... he cant finish that quest LOL...

But yeah, as others said, its a result of the Chalice of Corruption

It does have an upside. While you are corrupted, the Am Fah are friendly. It can make completing the Kaineng Center area quests much easier.
