Inappropriate Character Name Question

I just got banned for 72 hours because my sin's name is "Asians Have No Soul" and all of a sudden I said something in Local chat (not anything bad) and a bunch of people say "OMG I AM OFFENDED BY THAT EVERYONE REPORT!!" .... I just wanna know if you have the oppurtunity to change the name when you get back on because I really want to ... or does it make you either delete it or get banned several times? Oh, by the way I was on an American server so I don't think there are too many asians, and I never said anything directed towards anyone.

A. People are two easily offended (go ahead say americans have no soul, athiests have no soul, ect ect ect)
B. I think you are asking if you can keep using the characterm yes, you just have to renaim them.

Thank you, and yes people are WAY too easily offended, and one of the people that said they were asian and offended on an AMERICAN server where they shouldn't even be said to me afterwards that "I am white as white can get but I just wanted to see how many people would report you." Then poof. 72 hour ban lol. Anyways, I just want to know how do you rename characters, can you usually do that? If you can, then I have been missing out lol

Also, for some reason, the word sega isn't allowed. I don't know why, but it's annoying. Maybe Anet has something against Sega?

Rofl, if that is true then ANet is messing up GW just a little bit because this reporting stuff can get out of hand when the user did nothing or close to nothing wrong at all ... just a ton of ignorant people reported and they just do whatever and they don't care since I already have EoTN, NF, Factions, and Proph lol

btw i think if u get banned for inapropriate name, u gotta delete the char and make a new one with an "appropriate name" sucks for you ><

btw one more thing i dont think lots of ppl report u and u automatically get a ban, i think it goes thro sum weird process. cause if that was true i culd say if u report "So & So" ill give u 10ecto and they'd get a bann ^^

I can't answer your question, but I can see how that would be considered mildly offensive. I had made some offensive names for PvP characters in the past. It's a good thing that they didn't have report feature back then and that I didn't keep the characters. The name you came up with is kind of lame, really. I wouldn't have reported it, though. What a waste of my time that would be.

If they give you the opportunity to rename your assassin to something, why not rename it with a creative twist, as if you meant "soul" in the musical sense. E.g. Asians Have No Rn B, or Asians Have No Jazz. Of course, if you just want to give in to to the religious Asian GW community that apparently settled on American servers, then maybe you should just rename to Asians Have Souls...

Asian can mean that you live in Asia, or it could mean you are of that ethnicity.
