hi, first of all.. i got a laptop acer aspire 5920 with xp home edition

and for some reason i cant play guild wars in full screen because it keeps freezing up on me.. so i played window mode now for about 2 months... but i figured.... lets try full screen again and see if it happens now also and it did... but now it F***ed up my computer completly... guild wars froze and sometimes strange F***ed up colors came.. and i had to turn power off with the power button, i tired to restart the computer but it wouldnt let me access windows! it kept restarting...
i tried tostart with "the last settings which worked" didnt work... i tried safe mode and it worked... lol buT! then i tried to enter guild wars to set it in window mode... but the screen F***ed up and froze...
then i tried to power up windows like normal and it worked!!! but the screen f***ed up completly!!! so no.. it didnt work ffs >.< and i tried not to enter guild wars and my computer just kept freezin up on me!! so eventually i had to formate my god damn computer because of guild wars FULL SCREEN!! :S

i tried different settings in guild wars and doesnt work, only window works.

do you guys have ANY idea why full screen f***s up my computer so badly? :S thank you.

Sounds like an issue with either your video card or your processor.

It does sound kind of strange. It may be a driver conflict of some kind. Have you gotten all the latest drivers for the machine?
