Mystic Spiral [MYST] Seeking GvG Players

Mystic Spiral [pre][MYST][/pre] is an established European Luxon Guild seeking three new PvP or PvX players. [pre]MYST[/pre] has a number of players that GvG on a regular basis but due to a predominant PvE player base, the team often finds themselves one or two players short of filling the group. With this in mind we have decided to recruit a small number of new members who are more involved in the PvP side of the game to flesh out the team and promote PvP in the guild. Usual play times are between 5-9 pm BST (British Summer Time) with the majority of members being European.

What we are looking for:

[pre]MYST[/pre] is interested in running balanced builds, so we’re looking for players interested in filling the following roles: Frontline target calling, Monk/Backline and a general Midline player. Those able to call are preferable and players looking to learn any role listed are welcome to apply.

Applicants must have a good understanding of game mechanics, and a basic understanding of PvP game play, as well as a headset/mic and Ventrilo. While no titles are needed, PvP experience is a bonus alongside being unlocked in all or your preferred profession. Players must have a positive and considerate attitude and want to learn from their mistakes (being able to laugh at yourself helps ). The guild has a flexible 16+ age restriction for maturity and mature themes, and there is no trading and limited swearing on Guild and Alliance chat. Rage quitting, rudeness and name calling within the team or to others is very much frowned upon – if this is your thing, we are not for you.


What we offer:

You will be joining an established, large guild with a variety of backgrounds, interests and specialities. GvG can be expected 3-4 nights a week once the team is put together again, but we are aiming for daily GvG and regular competition in Automated Tournaments. The Guild currently has a rating of 979, and we have aspirations of being on the ladder in the near future – we know that this is likely to happen. The guild has members with previous experience on the ladder, from guilds that are r200+, and we achieved 9th in the Guild Wars Guru GvG Tournament Casual Division.

Aside from the fun of GvG we have regularly scheduled events that have in the past included Dodgeball tournaments, HA trips, and our own custom events such as team scrimmages (see link for video). A Ventrilo server is open for all our members to use, even when on other games. We aim to provide a friendly and open environment for members to interact in and guarantee randomness along with an exceptionally large stockpile of cookies, beer and pie.

We mean to work together, kick some butt and have fun while doing it.
