are the maps on guru down?

i keep getting this msg from the site

The selected album/file does not exist !

Seems to me like they're gone.

The link to the maps is also only visible on the homepage(as far as I can tell), so I guess they forgot to remove that one.

I don't know whether any maps were ever there. Most maps are on the wiki or in the Cartography threads.

I think they where all links, the link might just have gotten messed up.

You mean the maps gallery from the main site? Yeah, they look like they're down, but then I don't think many people use them anyway. You can always get them off the wiki though.

They have been down for a very long time. The ones are wiki are, for the most part, the very same maps they had here.

It's one of those old sections of the site that seem to only exist for reminiscence purposes. That, along with the old skills and creatures sections were made unnecessary with the advent of the wiki(s).

Exactly why they are still there is unknown - it would maybe be a major job to remove them, eh Kzap/Inde?
