Why does play.com suck?

I ordered the guild wars complete collection on friday and it has yet to arrive yet on their site it says 3-5 working days...anyone else from europe or uk having this problem?????? I regret buying it from them now.

Well I'm from Portugal and ordered Factions just last week and it arrived 3 and a half days after it's been dispatched. Tough I now some people who are also waiting for the Complete Pack to arrive, what I don't know if it was dispatched day 5 or it was dispatched earlier so you can receive it on that (release) day. Anyway we're still on thursday so we're still at day 4 ... If you don't receive it by friday, try waiting until monday and file a missing dielivery report, or whatever it's called. But since you're not the only one, I'd say something else happened, maybe a late shipment?

A few days late and you say they suck?

There are plenty of online stores out there that take 3+ weeks to send your item if at all.

Play.com is one of the better online stores going.

You ordered on friday.....saturday and sunday aren't working days....monday = 1, tuesday = 2, wednesday = 3, thursday (today) = 4........start complaining if it doesn't arrive tomorrow....


[edit] just to add, I've ordered stuff from play.com before, and the only time something arrived late was when they ran out of the item. I received it a couple days later and they sent me an e-mail to say it would be a couple of days late.

Unrelated to GW product but I remember trying to buy a USB stick and they sent me the wrong one, told them to replace it, they sent me the wrong one again.

This happened 3 times in a row. In the end didn't bother trying to buy the product.

Not had a problem with them over the last few years although their computer tracking is sometimes misleading.
You get a message saying its being packed and the following day it says they are not at the packing stage as they are checking your credit.
Next day it arrives lol.

I know there are problems with orders made on fridays as the weekend screws up normal parcel deliveries.
That said they are cheaper than almost anyone else and have free delivery.
Still unhappy use this weblink it checks dvd and game prices from many uk mail order websites.

Well I ordered it the Tuesday before relise the 2nd it seems they must be struggling to send them out I was expecting mine today or at latest tomoz but unfortunatly I can't complain until 21 days have passed a well that what u sacrifes the free postage for!

A suggestion to angry customers: Royal Mail is also to blame, 50% of the time in my experience they've been the cause of delays.

Royal mail is always to blame imho.

Did you know Royal Mail was renamed Consignia at a cost of £2 million because the name said what they did better than the words Post office and mail ???

16 months later and a £1.9 Billion cash gift from the Government and they reverted to Royal Mail.

If the people in charge are that stupid its a wonder any mail is ever delivered correctly.
