They want you to take a picture of the access key on the sheet of paper that originally came with the game.

EDIT: I see from your other posts that you got the key online; you might want to tell them that and/or forward the e-mail with the key to them.

Remember the cards you got with your games? That hold your keycodes? Take a photo of all 3 (assuming you have all 3)

Oh and btw...did you contact support? Because if they emailed you first do NOT reply with ANYTHING. And report the email to Anet's support immediately.

From the sounds of it they did email you first, it's probably a scam attempt.

He was having trouble with his key earlier, so I'm assuming he contacted support.

If you have a retail box version of GW (any chapter/expansion) it would have come with some sort of card (insert) that had the key code on it. They want you to take a picture of that card and e-mail it to them. (to prove that you actually have it.)
If you purchased it from the online store, you probably don't have an actual card with a key on it, so you'll have to explain that to them and forward any info you have about the on-line purchase.

One company I deal with online has a service where they log anything you buy from them.

They have my name and postal address as well as email and they keep a copy of the purchase date.

I never have to prove to them when I bought something Its brilliant I wish all companies did the same for online purchases.

What if you have more then one box, and don't remember which box has your CD key?
